I had been a little stumped this month thinking about a sequel to my previous blog post. Like everyone, my day to day is mundane. I think there's already a substantial population of talented and intelligent whores providing Twitter analysis of geopolitics and applied feminist theory and I don't have much to add to that milieu. Here are some things I am interested in right now.

1. Perfume

I've been getting into niche fragrances this year. I've been tempted by the flowery language used by perfumers as I love words... "a naughty flirtation of cherries bathed in liquor..." "a love spell of apricots..." jasmine, lavender and cashmeran, all these beautiful flowers and fruits, evocative and accessible for like 30 cents a spritz. As a literal whore, loving to spray myself with luxurious fragrance makes sense. I also love good cologne on a man.

2. Not getting mad in traffic anymore

I've been using my mindfulness skills to calm the fuck down. It can be difficult if you are, like me, a person who is kinda concerned about other people being mad at them, and therefore convinced any ambient honking is for you. But some deep breaths, and the recognition that it is absolutely silly for me to allow my blood pressure to rise one point, help.

3. Turning off the news

I found an elliptical machine behind a pole at my gym and I sprint for it bc it successfully blocks BOTH ceiling TVs subjecting me to a barrage of current events, which are typically bad. For instance, today Trump initiated immigration raids, decided he wants to rename the Gulf for some bizarre reason and villainously announced to the energy industry that it can for all intents and purposes freely work to render the earth completely fucking uninhabitable. I knew it was probably happening, but I can't unlearn that. I'm preserving my personal peace by limiting my exposure to such things. Because I can't be having a conniption every morning learning a new detail.

4. Hot tubs

You don't have to watch the TV in the hot tub! No current events! No email, it's too wet! You can lay back, enjoy the jets, and if you're smart, do some foreplay at the very least as you luxuriate in the hotel room you're sharing with your hooker (moi). I love hot tubs.

5. Dancing
